These REVERSIBLE earrings have 2 different captivating patterns. Picture depicts each side. Both sides were created using a mokume gane process of layering sheets of polymer clay together then distorting them by pushing different objects through the stack of clay. Thin slices of clay are shaved off to reveal unique patterns. The insides of the earrings are sterling silver which began as a clay form. Various textured surfaces were used to create a pattern. After the drying process the earrings were sanded then kiln fired for 2 hours at 1675 degrees. Earrings were tumbled after the firing process then painted with liver of sulfur to add a patina. The interchangeable lever back ear wires are sterling silver. Simply slide the earring off then flip it around. Earrings measure 2 1/4" long.
